Susan E. McCarthy

Ms. McCarthy concentrates her practice in the area of residential and commercial real estate, zoning and land use. Her experience includes representation of financial institutions, construction contractors, real estate developers, mortgage lenders, employers, employees, landlords and tenants.

Admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Ms. McCarthy has over a decade of general practice experience with a concentration in real estate, including matters before the Land Court, and local and state regulatory boards. Ms. McCarthy is a graduate of Boston College and received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.

Prior to her association with Griffin Law, Susan was a partner of Ranney McCarthy, PC in Nantucket, MA. A native of Newburyport, MA, Ms. McCarthy lives in Nantucket with her husband, Rob and their children. Susan is a long time inhabitant of Nantucket where she serves as a member of the Nantucket Zoning Board of Appeals.
